THE ORGANISATION

Who We Are

Rock of Hope Community and Family (ROHCAF) is a registered, community-driven non-profit organization committed to the holistic transformation of vulnerable children, youth, women and families across Rwanda.

Founded on the conviction that every person is born with inherent worth and potential, we work to create a world where no child is limited by the circumstances of their birth.

Working hand-in-hand with local communities, churches, schools and partners, we address the root causes of poverty through integrated — not piecemeal — support.

Our Story

A journey of hope, one life at a time

2015

A Seed of Hope

Rock of Hope Community and Family is founded in Musanze District, Northern Rwanda, driven by a simple conviction: no child should be left behind.

2017

Reaching Neighbourhoods

Community outreach grows as volunteers begin supporting vulnerable children and families in surrounding villages with meals, schooling and care.

2020

Building Structures of Support

Programmes expand to nutrition, education, child protection, health and family empowerment, deepening our integrated model of care.

Today

A Hub for Life

ROHCAF serves hundreds of children and families while building towards a sustainable Community Development Centre for generations to come.
